Prawnapa “Prawaa” Niemeyer RN, was born in Maha Sarakham City in Thailand in March 1986. She obtained her Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) degree from Mahasarakham University in 2008 and earned Master degree in Nursing (MSN) in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Burapha University in 2016.
She has been working as a Professional Nurse since 2008 and has worked in different areas including Critical care, Medical & Surgical, postpartum care, pediatric as well as psychiatric units.
Her last employment in her nursing career before immigrating to the United States was in the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand. The Bangkok Medical unit supports the largest Embassy in the U.S. Foreign Services in providing healthcare services to more than 2,500 adult and pediatric patients. In 2019, Prawaa was recognized by the U.S. Ambassador Chargé d’Affairesto Thailand for her outstanding nursing and patient care.
Prawaa moved full time to Maui, HI USA in December, 2019 with her husband Eddie. She works full time at Maui Memorial Hospital in the Progressive Care Unit. In 2020, Prawaa and Eddie opened Valley Isle CPR teaching Heartsaver, BLS, ACLS and PALS. After less than two years in the US, she purchased her first home
